We arrive in Reading to go to the genealogical society for Becky. I'm not one to judge, but the woman who helped Becky find some books in this library was seriously lacking estrogen...she smelled something awful, needed a shower-real bad, had some pretty crazy teeth and she even had a handle bar mustache. After only an hour of being there, Bewcky gave us the signal that we could leave and search for her family church off in Wernersville, Pennsylvania. Let's just say that Pennsylvania's not known for their great city/town names. Virginville, Grimville, kutztown, and even a Maiden Creek (actual creek). Before getting out of Reading, we were directed by many different police officers, doing traffic control, because there was the The commerce Bank Reading Classic Bicycle Race. Before getting out of this mad chaos, one of the officers had this rain-like bonnet on his police hat...very bright orange...and very noticeable anyway, Becky was cool and collected until she looked at him and he looked back, then she busted out laughing as soon as we were right in front of him. A little embarrassing...but we'd probably never see him again...so it worked out.
We had no idea where we were, but some how made it out on the correct road. Before getting ot the church, the car had a mind of its own and pulled into a Dairy Queen. We all got out and ordered, excepted Aunt Marla Jane & I were a bit complex for their style, but it all worked out in the end. Aunt Marla Jane got a banana split, instead of pineapple she substituted it with caramel. Myself on the other hand, went a little above and beyond with my order, "I'll have the banana split, but instead of pineapple, I'd like caramel, and instead of vanilla ice cream, could I have chocolate ice cream with the strawberry topping?" The cashier gave a strange face then repeadted my order back to me and said that it could be done. That made my day. Bekcy chose the Peanut Buster Parfait...I guess that was Grandpa's favorite. In Wernersville, the view from the cemetary/church was wonderful. They were located at the top of a hill, with a great view of a valley and mountains or large hills in the distance. Since this church in Wernersville didn't believe in making a cemetery map, we scanned each and every tomb stone for the names of Becky's family line. The clouds grew darker and darker and then after a couple drops from above, I retrieved the umbrella from the trunk and
