Yesterday I was doing some research on one of the companies i was supposed to have an interview with today and found that they were associated with scams in both business and modeling industries and decided that it would be in my best interest not ot go and waste my time and money by going into the city. So, after another disconsolate interview I went into the city to meet Becky by going to a birthday party for our mutal friend Julie. Becky has known her longer than I have, but I went along. The dinner was held at Agave in West Village. I'm still not that familiar with the city yet, but I was proud of myself for getting over to the city without any troubles. Finding the restaurant once I was off the train was another story. I couldn't find anything to wear so I forgot to print out the map Becky had sent me. I was walking five "street" blocks in the wrong direction when Becky called me wondering if I had gotten lost. So I had to walk the 5 blocks plus 3 more to find Agave. I got there in one piece. We had dinner, sang happy birthday, and got a group picture taken before we all headed off on our separate ways. It was a nice time.
