Aggravating Air Conditioner

This morning begun with a quick conversation with Becky before she headed off to work. She announced that she had ordered an air conditioner online and asked if I could watch her email for a confirmation for the pick up time and then she was off. So for most of the day I waited for an email from Sears. Long story short, when she goth ome from work, we went out and borrowed a friend's Mitsubishi SUV/truck-like vehicle to get the air conditioner. But before we ran into her friend we were on the Light Rail platform. After talking to our mutual friend with their dog, named Ronnie, we managed to get them to let us borrow their vehicle. We waited at the merchandise pick up department for about an hour while they figured things out. I'm not putting the employees down, but they weren't very helpful and they weren't very pleasant either. We got back to the apartment and were about to carry the air conditioner up to the 3rd floor of our building, but a very nice guy from the restaurant offered to carry it up for us and of course we let him.

So, Becky wanted to just start putting parts together and I suggested that we use the
insturction manual for assisance. Step by step, we followed the directions and then managed to get the appliance together, plugged in and blowing out a continual chilly breeze. WE were ecstatic! now we could live through the hottest days of the summer without wanting to strip down into our skivvies and jump into the Arctic Ocean.
