18 Hilarious Holes
Rebecca had a golf tournament today for Goldman Sachs at Beaver Brook Country Club. It was located in the Garden State of New Jersey and it was very close to Pennsylvania. our friend Richie drove us out there becasue he too was participating in this outing. Since golfing is normally placyed with just two people/pairs the mass production of golf carts are made specifically for only 2 average sized Americans. Since I came along for the company I was able to drive the cart while Rebecca and Russell played the game. The golf course was amazingly beautiful. The view from certain holes was breath taking. And so I did what I do best, I took pictures of most of the game. During the game, Russell was actually hit with a golf ball in the derriere while he was mid swing. The ball was from an entirely different fairway. We all herd the sound it made when the ball hit him, but we hadn't even heard anyone say "Fore!" As we continued playing our team started playing the back 9 (holes 10 through 18) and then we started at 1 and finished the game at hole 9. I've never sat through an entire game of golf so this was another experience I can check off my lists of things to do in life. Rebecca beat all of the guys on her team. We returned to the club house around 7:00pm after teeing off at 1:42pm. I've never experienced anything like this, the longest game ever. We returned home and while driving, Richie explained that most of the scenes from The Sopranos were and are filmed in Jersey City.
