I do know one thing that is for sure. I will have some massive leg muscles (or derrière) after either walking all over or walking the numerous stairs everywhere. I'm pretty stoked for the next couple of weeks...there's a lot going on here and in the City to look forward to.

Sizzling Start to Summer
A continuation from my earlier blog for today. The beginning of today was spent figuring out the Path system in Jersey and the Metro system in Manhattan. I can only assume that the locals here could spot us, my parents and I, out like a sore thumb. After getting situated with the MTA or Port Authority...we managed to get ourselves up to the Metropolitan Museum of Art New York. There were numerous exhibits and galleries. I went to an exhibit called, Th Sights Unseen...magnificent! They were all photographs of random items, by random photographers or some known photographers. Some were photos made from paper negative or glass negatives. We walked through a good portion of the museum. We had a lovely little bit to eat in The American Wing and had a lovely view of Central Park. Another exhibit we ventured to was the Anglo Mania...very interesting. You'll just have to go there and see it yourself.
Later this evening was spent in Midtown, going to the Phantom of the Opera. The theatrical special effects were out of this world and the lighting was pretty sweet as well. Afterwards we went to find Ray's Pizza, a place recommended by my cousin, to get the 'real New York experience'. But after a couple of blocks of nothing, we ended up going to a Greek restaurant for dinner. Wow...expensive! the food was good and I was definitely stuffed by the end of the meal.
