Swirling

Girl Scout Motto: Be prepared.

Just now, I was swirling my mug of hot chocolate and thinking about the multiple things I needed to be doing today. Well, to my surprise, I feel a warm sensation on my leg. As I look down, I find that I've swirled my hot chocolate down the front of my shirt as well as onto my dry-clean only gray trousers.

Having been a girl scout from Kindergarten to 8th grade, I really took the motto to heart and am prepared. I quickly grab a napkin and dab up the excess and dig through my purse to pull out the Tide Pen. While the spill is still fresh, I apply the handy Tide Pen and the stain starts to vanish. I told a co-worker that swirling and multi-tasking should be prohibited...due to my clumsiness.

Now the stain is barely visible and my trousers are almost dry!

Out of my friends from high school, if they need something while we're out, they know to come to me...because, I usually have it in my purse. A bit sad, however very true.
